There were alot of empty seats at the demo. We didn't buy a sandwich or beverage at the demo or fair after paying that much to get in. My dad who works at lunds used to go to both demos and the tractor pull he didn't go to anything this year.

I was quite dissapointed in the "free" fair. Pay for parking, $10 for the derby, heaven forbid you want to eat or drink anything. Our "free" entry ended up costing us almost $60 by the time the night was over. There is no reason what so ever the derby should be $10. Keep jacking up the costs and your turnout will be less. Like Thursday night.

We went to the fair tonight. We were impressed with the cleanliness and the choice of rides. Last yr there were very few kiddie rides and half the time they didnt work.. this yr they are very nice. My kids were very happy and we enjoyed it too. We liked the free gate fee but some commented on having to pay so much to get into the demo derby. We also missed the wrist bands tonight.. Overall we enjoyed it and liked that it seemed to be run much better this year.

I think the 10.00 charge is outrageous. We have always enjoyed the demo derby, but 40.00, for my family to get in is crazy, especially when it's not the "full" demo! We normally would have dinner at the 4-H buliding, maybe partake in a few beverages. I guess we will just be staying home. The rides have been a disappointment the last several years anyway. I'll go to the neighbors to look at the cows and chickens.
