this is horrible reporting, becareful not to believe too much into your own hype. if you think that this area, specifically perham is virtually untouchable by recession you will soon be learning a very hard lesson. if this reporter or her editor actually did any investigating i.e. talking to other businesses in perham, they would see alot of them are holding on by a string. alot of these businesses have been around for along time and they are just trying to stay afloat during the recession. it usually takes around here sometimes 2 years after the rest of the country for things to take hold. and i dont see the rest of the country kicking butt yet. if you truly want to help keep the recession away from here shop locally. but we know that is not always possible or prudent for our own wallets and needs.
