geez dan, tell us how you really feel. i am very happy to see that alot of my friends that work at lund in mills will still have jobs. these are great people that work hard and it is proven by the fact that they build the worlds best boat, sorry tracker, you cant even come close. without the mills crew lund boats would be nothing but an overpriced northwoods.

This story reminds of a similar story regarding a business relocation from Perham to near the Twin Cities. Obviously the current workers were offered their jobs at the new location. However, that decision was ultimately up to the worker. Not all of the Little Falls employees may relocate. Some may stay due to a spouse's job or they may feel the Little Falls school district is better than those around NYM and Perham and others may be close to retirement and do not see the value of moving for a few more years of work. At the end of the day, these current workers deserve respect not derision. I'm sure that if it were the NYM plant shutting down the workers would want the opportunity to relocate. I know I would want a relocation option for those families who depend on the income from the NYM plant. However, many of the Little Falls workers may be looking at this very article to gauge how the EOT communities will accept them. It's a shame that these prospective neighbors are reading comments that the EOT communities don't want them...all without having truly met these people. How small minded and shame on those who share in mentality.

What an absolute CROCK OF S**T. Give these jobs to local people who are looking for work and not leave our unemployed in that position. Bringing people into the community to employ while leaving our locals out of work is a JOKE and after reading this story Lund makes me want to puke.
