A special Arbor Day tree-planting ceremony was conducted on the New York Mills elementary school grounds April 30. Classmates, grandparents, parents and school staff gathered as Nick Theroux, Blossoms, Birds and Beyond, helped Arbor Foundation poster contest winner Heather Weller plant the tree that was awarded to the school for her state-winning poster entry.
