James E. Jokela, 71, of Brainerd, Minn., died Oct. 3, at Good Samaritan Society - Bethany. A celebration of life is scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday Oct. 8 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter, Minn., with Pastor Lilja Behr officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Good Samaritan Society Hospice.
