Wrestling: Defending section champs oust top-seeded Eagles
BARRETT — The top-seeded New York Mills wrestling team was bumped from Section 6A team wrestling tournament by No. 4-seeded and three-time defending Section 6A champion Border West Saturday in Barrett 38-27.
“We weighed in a lineup to win in the finals and that ended up being the difference,” Eagles Head Coach Eric Niemi said. “A gamble we needed to take.”
