NY Mills will host the first and second rounds of Section 6A playoffs Tuesday, Feb. 14. The No. 9-seeded Pelican Rapids Vikings take on No. 8 Wadena-Deer Creek at 6 p.m. The winner of that match will take on the top-seeded Eagles at 7:30 p.m.

LONG PRAIRIE —Shane Novak was named Outstanding Wrestler for the second time this season and Jeremiah Harper and Maison Roberts also garnered individual conference titles to lead the Eagles to the Park Region Conference Championship Saturday in Long Prairie.

Wrestling: Hein and Nylander combine for six pins to lead Perham to runners-up at Dravis Duals
STAPLES-Perham heavyweight Jesse Hein exerted less than three minutes of effort winning three matches by fall, while Cody Nylander dominated the 220-pound classes winning his three matches by fall in just over four minutes total time leading the Yellowjackets to a runners-up finish at the Don Dravis Duals in Staples Saturday.

Novak named Outstanding Wrestler at Teiken Invite
LAKE PARK-Jeremiah Harper, Shane Novak and Noah Pesola all took individual titles in their weight class at the 33rd annual Terry Teiken Invitational tournament in Lake Park.
Novak was named the tournament’s outstanding wrestler for his efforts.

Wrestling: Frazee outmaneuvers Perham for 34-28 victory
Both Perham and Frazee juggled lineups, as they renewed a heated wrestling rivalry Tuesday night in Perham. The Hornets managed to put enough points on the board late in the match to avoid the almost assured 12 points from Perham studs Jesse Hein and Cody Nylander in a 34-28 victory.
