Letter to the editor: Organization does more than most realize
Very few people in the East Otter Tail area are familiar with the Degree Of Honor Protective Association Service Club, yet this small group of 18 people has done so much for this community.

Letter to the editor: A sincere ‘thank you’
I think gratitude sums up how we feel about the benefit that was held Jan. 28 at Mulligan’s for my dad and me. For some reason it doesn’t seem as though we can even try to sum up how we feel with words, and “thank you” just doesn’t seem like it’s enough.

Letter to the editor: Not believing what president dishes out
After watching President Barack Obama’s State of the Union speech and listening
to the way he stretches the truth or ignores it completely to deceive us, I will believe he wants to put people back to work when he lifts the ban on the Keystone pipeline.

Letter to the editor: Hold the judgment
On Jan. 20, 2011, I received one of the worst phone calls in my life. It was a call from my dad letting me know that my brother, Zachary, had collapsed while playing basketball and was in an ambulance on his way to the hospital – he was fighting for his life.
By Courtney Gabbard, Frisco, Colo. , February 03, 2012
Letter to the Editor: Is thank you enough?
Not a week goes by without a story or an update about Zachary in some sort of media, so I am sure everyone knows what I am talking about here.
I have said thank you more times in the past 11 months than I am sure I have up until that point in my life.
However, is thank you enough?
