I think gratitude sums up how we feel about the benefit that was held Jan. 28 at Mulligan’s for my dad and me. For some reason it doesn’t seem as though we can even try to sum up how we feel with words, and “thank you” just doesn’t seem like it’s enough.

On Jan. 20, 2011, I received one of the worst phone calls in my life. It was a call from my dad letting me know that my brother, Zachary, had collapsed while playing basketball and was in an ambulance on his way to the hospital – he was fighting for his life.
